Axel Adler Scholarship in Sweden is the major scholarship program of paying international students in the University of Gothenburg. The university also funds it and they aim at assisting students with an academic talent, irrespective of their nationalities.
The students receiving the scholarship are those who apply to eligible Master level programs or few of the undergraduate programs, including Software Engineering, International Relations, and Business and Economics.
The candidates are selected based on the performance of the candidates in academics, their interest in studying at University of Gothenburg as well as based on the program that they have stipulated. This scholarship can only be used by students when their priority is to join UniversityAdmissions.se.
Scholarship/Program Benefits
The scholarship offers major financial and non financial benefits:
- Full Tuition Fee Waiver: Covers 100% of the tuition fee for the entire duration of the Bachelor’s or Master’s program.
- FAS+ Insurance: FAS + insurance covers Scholarship holders and is being offered by the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Service Agency (Kammarkollegiet).

Important Notice: The Axel Adler Scholarship is a tuition fee waiver only. It does not cover living expenses, accommodation, travel and other personal expenses. To obtain a residence permit, the applicants have to have a financing to maintain their cost of living according to the specifications of Swedish Migration Agency.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Axel Adler Scholarship, applicants must:
