- Peking University Scholarship Application Form: Download the page of the online application form with a document number (generated after online filling) offered by the online application system.
- Photo Page of Passport: A scanned copy of the photo page in your passport (which must be valid for at least 12 months).
- Highest Diploma: Copies of notarized bachelor’s, master’s, or high school diplomas, among others.
- Transcripts: Official transcripts from all prior colleges.
- Language Proficiency Certificate: Language proficiency proof in English (TOEFL/IELTS) or Chinese (HSK) if applicable; 8.
- Entry Requirements: A statement describing financial mechanism, academic background and history, academic performance or work experience, and reasons for applying for a scholarship (maximum 1,000 words).
- Letters of Recommendation: Two letters from Faculty or academic references.
- HEALTH CERTIFICATE FORM: The hospital is already printed.
- Non-Criminal Record Certificate: It is a document to be issued, in many cases, by the police or the previous school.
- Application Fee: RMB 520 (or USD 80) paid online or by bank transfer.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Applicant must be an overseas applicant and have received an admission notice from any school of Peking University.
- Non-Dual Scholarship: Applicants should not be recipients of any other scholarships.
- Programs Excluded: The scholarship is not applicable for students studying in professional degree programs, joint degree programs, and programs where the language of instruction is English.
- Admission: applicants study at Peking University for undergraduate, master’s, or Ph.D degrees.

- Complete the China Scholarship Council Application Form: Go to the China Scholarship Council (CSC) webpage (click on the link or paste in browser address, double click) csc.edu.cn/studyinchina, click on “Application Online for International Students”, complete the form, download and save it.
- Upload Application Documents: Submit all application materials to the application system.
- Visit the University: There could be some more steps or documents required by the university. Contact the admissions office at the university for more information.
- Follow-up: Keep an eye on your email inbox for correspondence, and follow additional instructions that are sent to you by the university or scholarship committee.
