Chevening Scholarship 2025 is an international fully funded Government of UK scholarship to all rocketed graduate (with outstanding leadership skills) who are well known in their respective field; It enables top talent from around 160 different countries to pursue a one year master’s in any UK university
Since 1983, Chevening has had global leadership starting with the UK government’s international awards scheme. Chevening, which is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organizations, offers two schemes: scholarships for postgraduate study in the UK; and fellowships for mid-career professionals.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the Chevening Scholarship 2025, you must:
- Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country
(See eligible countries list) - Hold an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK upper second-class 2:1
- Have at least two years (2,800 hours) of work experience
- Apply to three different eligible UK master’s courses
- Return to your home country for at least two years after the award
- Not hold British citizenship or dual UK nationality

- Two reference letters
- Chevening application essays (leadership, networking, study in the UK, career goals)
- Proof of work experience (paid, unpaid, internships, volunteer work)
- Conditional or unconditional offers from at least one UK university (can be submitted after application but before the final deadline)

- Choose three eligible UK master’s programs using the Chevening Course Finder
- Write and upload your four Chevening essays
- Please upload your references and academic transcripts with all other supporting documents.
- Apply & submit before the deadline 7 October 2025 at 12:00 UTC.
- Apply separately to the UK universities for admission
Selection Process:
The Chevening selection process includes multiple stages:
